Today Benaiah had his first 4 wheel ride….Grandma and Grandpa have a beautiful farm—the ride was a bit chilly but fun. Brad grew up there and I have to agree with him when he says it is a place of peace and serenity…things move at a different pace. A couple of weeks ago- Benaiah and I were at the farm and I decided to take a walk and have some quiet time. The weather was AMAZING. The full sun warmed us both from the inside out. Sitting on the hillside, overlooking the river and trees, with the sunlight streaming --my heart was SO FULL and God was so near….I bolted out Hillsong’s Hallelujah…it speaks to my soul. Now two weeks later we come to the very same spot. It is here Brad and I agree that Benaiah will be laid to rest. A tornado ripped through the property and completely destroyed a rental home there—How fitting that with tragedy new life, new beginning happens.
Hillsong’s Hallelujah Lyrics
Saved by Your mercy
FOUND in Your grace
Totally surrendered to Your embrace
And there's nothing more than You
See Your perfection
I'm lost in Your peace
Your faithfulness sings over me
And Your love is the light of my soul
And I lift my eyes to You
Creator of the world
And I stand in awe of You
Of Your glory
And I live to worship You
Son of God, King of heaven
And the angels round Your throne
Cry out holy
To the One who is to come
Hear us sing hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
