November 2009-

More and more friends, extended family, and co-workers start to hear the news. We were SO excited to be pregnant yes—but to share our God story within the process—that was the best part! What a privilege to be able to glorify God in this act with those around us.

At this time we are going through the book of Ephesians at church—my eyes fell upon this verse—

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen” Ephesians 3: 20+21 

I was thinking- what a perfect verse to put on the baby’s bedroom wall above their bed!! It captured again that this child was an immeasurably amazing gift and we wanted them to bring God the glory for their generation and those to follow. 

Brad and I would often pray at night that this baby would first of all, come to know God at a very early age.  We also prayed that their life would make more of a difference for God than ours.  Again—looking back another piece starts to fit the puzzle…..
